This was the day Yooper Steez began, which is now known as the Upper Peninsula Supply Company. It all began after finishing my 50 state tour across the country and returning home to Baraga where I wanted to continue my role as ambassador of the Upper Peninsula. After brainstorming in late 2007, the first iteration of the U.P. Supply Co. was born in January 2008.
As soon as the first batch of shirts arrived I rushed outside to think up a photo to get on the website. I asked my mom to grab her camera as I headed towards the Yooper Scooper.
